Guardians of the Wall Steam Wishlist and Playtest Access
Two different buttons. You probably want both.
This is the short Steam checklist for Guardians of the Wall. It exists so you can follow it on a second monitor while the store page is open. The long version — dates, what to test, NDA caution — is How to Join the Playtest. Hardware is system requirements. Official URLs are on the links hub.
Button one: wishlist
- Sign into Steam on Windows.
- Open Guardians of the Wall.
- Use Add to your wishlist.
Wishlist does three useful things for an upcoming Q1 2027 game: it pings you when the price appears, it pings you when a launch date firms up, and it makes the game easier to find in your own Steam client. It does not put a playtest in your library. If you only wishlist, you can still miss the 3 September 2026 wave.
There is no public price on the store card yet. Do not trust a key reseller. When a price exists, it will exist on Steam first.
Button two: Request Access
On the same store page, find Join the Guardians of the Wall Playtest and choose Request Access. Steam’s helper text says you will be notified when the developer is ready for more participants. That text can survive after a wave has already started. Request anyway.
When access lands:
- A playtest app appears in your library. It may not replace the main coming-soon tile.
- Download only after you have 25 GB free and a GPU that can live with DirectX 12.
- Launch from the playtest entry, not from a random desktop shortcut someone posted in a forum.
If the module is missing, sign in, disable aggressive store filters, and try a different Steam download region only as a last resort. Age gates and login walls hide playtest modules more often than “the test is gone forever.”

Boiling Bits has not promised that playtest progress carries to launch. Spend essences like they might vanish. That is also why hero builds tells you to master one kit instead of awakening five.
Family Sharing is listed on the main app. Do not assume it shares a playtest. If a friend needs in, they press Request Access on their own account. Account sharing is how Steam bans happen and how co-op nights get shorter.
After you are in
- Confirm the client is the Boiling Bits playtest, app family 3575220, not a similarly named mobile wall-defense game.
- Set English audio if you have a choice; it is the only full-audio language listed.
- Play two raids, then read Getting Started with actual muscle memory.
- File combat feedback, because that is what the studio asked for when the Steam page launched.

If you never get in
Stay wishlisted. Upcoming indie co-op games often run a second wave after the first crash reports land. Use the wait to check specs, pick a job on the Guardian roster, and watch the announcement trailer on the home page. Being ready on day one of a later wave is more useful than refreshing a grey button every ten minutes.
There is no third-party key vendor we recommend. There is no Trello we have seen. There is no code list. If a stranger DMs you a “Guardians of the Wall beta key,” it is either the wrong game or a scam. Official access is the Steam module on the store page run by Boiling Bits.
When Q1 2027 arrives, this page will shrink to “buy or wait for a sale.” Until then, two buttons. Press both.

No. It is a playtest entitlement. The full game remains upcoming for Q1 2027.

Have them request access on their own Steam account. Do not share logins.
